Important notice to AOL users

Many AOL users don't realize that they can get a much better internet experience by not using the AOL software once they have signed on to AOL. This is very easy to accomplish.

After you've signed on to AOL, minimize AOL, by clicking on the "MINUS" sign in the upper right corner. (see graphic below).

After minimizing AOL, look for a big "E" on your desk top. It looks like this:

Click on this icon to open Internet Explorer. You may now see ALL the internet has to offer, the way it was meant to be seen. Simply type in the address you would like to view in the address bar, and hit "enter".

If you are not comfortable with this and still want to use the AOL software, please read page two of this help section to learn how to turn off the default "compressed graphics" function of the AOL software.
